About Barcode Generator
Barcode Generator creates 1D barcodes for retail and inventory: Code 128 for internal SKUs, EAN-13 and UPC-A for products that will be scanned at a checkout.
EAN and UPC encode a check digit derived from the other digits, so an invalid number produces a code scanners will reject.

UPC-A is 12 digits and used in North America. EAN-13 is 13 digits and used almost everywhere else.
Why is my EAN rejected?
The check digit does not match. Enter 12 digits and let the tool compute the thirteenth.
What is the smallest printable size?
EAN-13 needs about 3 cm width at 100% scale; shrinking below 80% breaks many scanners.
