About PNG to JPG
PNG to JPG converts lossless PNG images into much smaller JPEGs. Transparent areas are filled with white, because JPEG has no alpha channel.
It is the usual fix when a PNG screenshot is too heavy to upload or makes a page load slowly.

Several files can be converted at once.
- 2

Questions about PNG to JPG
What happens to transparency?
It becomes white. If you need transparency, keep PNG or use WebP instead.
How much smaller will it be?
Screenshots and flat graphics often drop 70–90%; photos drop less because PNG was already inefficient for them.
Is text still readable?
At 90% quality yes. Below 70%, thin text can show ringing artefacts.
Can I convert back to PNG?
Yes, but the JPEG compression already applied cannot be undone.
