About Image Resizer
Image Resizer changes pixel dimensions while keeping the aspect ratio, so a 4000 px photo becomes a 1200 px web image without stretching.
It is the quick fix for upload forms with strict pixel limits, and for social images that need exact dimensions.
How to use Image Resizer
- 1
Upload the image
JPG, PNG and WebP are accepted; several files can be resized at once.
- 2
Set the width or height
Enter one dimension and the other follows the ratio. Unlock the ratio if you need an exact crop-free shape.
- 3
Download
Multiple images come back as a ZIP with the original names.
Questions about Image Resizer
Can I enlarge an image?
Yes, but upscaling cannot invent detail. A small image enlarged will look soft.
How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Leave the ratio lock on and set only one dimension; the other is calculated.
Does resizing remove metadata?
Yes, EXIF including GPS is stripped, which also reduces file size.
What about DPI?
Pixels are what matter on screen. For print, set the pixel size to DPI × inches.
