About Video Merger
Video Merger joins several clips into one file. When all clips share codec, resolution and frame rate, the streams are copied without re-encoding; otherwise everything is normalised first.
This is the usual way to combine phone clips recorded in the same session into a single file.
How to use Video Merger
- 1
Add the clips
Order them in the list; that becomes the playback order.
- 2
Merge
Mismatched inputs are re-encoded to the first clip's settings.
- 3
Download
Check duration and audio sync at the joins.
Questions about Video Merger
Why do my clips fail to merge?
Different resolutions or codecs usually. Re-encode them to the same settings first.
Is there a gap between clips?
No, they are concatenated directly.
Does merging reduce quality?
Only if re-encoding is required; an identical-format merge is a stream copy.
What is the size limit?
The total upload must stay under 2 GB.
