About Mute Video
Mute Video removes the audio track from a video and leaves the picture untouched. Useful when background noise, a copyright claim, or a private conversation should not travel with the file.
The video stream is copied rather than re-encoded, so quality does not change.

Questions about Mute Video
Is the video re-encoded?
No. The video stream is copied, so there is no generation loss.
Can I add audio later?
Yes, in any video editor — the output is a normal silent video.
How much smaller is the file?
As much as the audio track weighed: usually 5–15% of the total.
Does it remove subtitles?
No. Only the audio track is removed; subtitle tracks stay.
