URL Encoder
Percent-encode special characters in a URL or query string.
About URL Encoder
URL Encoder percent-encodes text so it can travel safely inside a query string, path segment or form body. Spaces, ampersands and non-ASCII characters otherwise break the request.
Encoding follows encodeURIComponent semantics, which is what you want for individual parameter values.
How to use URL Encoder
- 1
Paste the value
Text, a query value, or a full URL you need to nest inside another parameter.
- 2
Choose a mode
Component mode encodes reserved characters; full-URL mode keeps ://?& intact.
- 3
Copy the result
Paste it into the request, redirect or tracking link.
Questions about URL Encoder
Space as %20 or +?
Use %20 in paths and modern query strings. + is only valid in application/x-www-form-urlencoded bodies.
Should I encode the whole URL?
No — that turns :// into %3A%2F%2F and breaks it. Encode individual values instead.
Why did my link break after adding &?
& separates parameters. Encode it as %26 inside a value.
Does it handle Unicode?
Yes, characters are UTF-8 encoded first, then percent-escaped.
